Our "Hub" projects came out of conversations with the Mayor’s Office for Criminal Justice. MOCJ was looking for design explorations for two courts embarking on capital projects. The much maligned Bronx Housing Court was in sore need of a redesign. In Staten Island, plans were underway for an addition to the Family Court. A new cohort of student teams utilized our Restorative Justice Framework to explore how both sites might be incubators for a new kind of justice experience.
